…You’re only 500 once, right? We’ll never have 500 posts again, so we have to make the most of this moment in time. Right now I’m listening to “Defying Gravity” from the Wicked soundtrack. It’s at the end of the song where Elphaba and Glinda are singing to each other (sincerely) “I hope you’re happy.” I like it well enough, it is a show-stopper, after all. Also, it’s the last song before the intermission and a time skip of a couple months, I think.

Of course, in the time that it took me to double-check the spelling of Elphaba’s name, it had gone on to the next song, and by the time I finished formatting that last paragraph, even “Thank Goodness” had finished. I don’t know if I’m dragging my heels or what, it seems like it’s taking forever. (skips “Wonderful” and “I’m Not That Girl”) I like “Wonderful,” but I really wanted to get “As Long As You’re Mine,” “No Good Deed,” and “For Good.”

So, there are five hundred entries (and even more drafts) in the Norvendae blog. That means we’re halfway to a thousand, which is a weird thought. The most recent entries have been pretty narrow in scope, in my opinion — I’ve been torn between working on the comic and preparing for Escape from White Cliff — I feel like I’m not doing justice to the blog. But then, it’s here to give you a peek into my head. It isn’t supposed to be life-changing. Somewhere between FaceBook and LiveJournal, that’s what I want.

Here’s to five hundred, hundred more! :)
