Our game master got progressively more and more annoying as the campaign continued. After casting a Sleep spell to cover her tracks, yamaneka’s character vanished from the game, never to be seen again.

Another few combat rounds are hidden behind a ‘more’ tag. This battle had some interesting repercussions… namely in that most of the party contracted lycanthropy. This was a real low point in the campaign, not the worst but … it was ridiculous.

Still groggy from the Sleep spell, Elric made his way out of the room and down the hallway. He heard Elena’s voice calling his name and moved as quickly as he could, using the wall to help support his weight on his unsteady legs.

Round 23
Move to where Elric has line of sight on the swarm and the wererat and cast Sound Burst. If he can’t get line of sight on both, he’ll just hit the swarm.

If the swarm is already dead, he will focus the spell on the wererat instead.

(AoE deals an extra 50% damage to swarm; 9 total)

Round 24
If needed, Elric will continue to shift his position to get line of sight on the swarm and/or wererat. If the swarm is already dead, he will focus the spell on the wererat.

Round 25
If the wererat is still standing after two rounds of spells, Elric will move the rest of the way downstairs and draw his heavy mace (for free action while moving). If a single move is close enough to get him within melee of the wererat, he will attack. If not, he will cast Shield of Faith.
