I’m afraid I must ask. She’s made a threat against a friend of mine, and I need to know as much as I can about her. Basic stuff, recent activities. Strange rumors, sightings, disappearances. Who she spends time with and who’s associated with her.

Come now, I paid your tab for the evening. Surely you can tell me more, wouldn’t that be fair? And really, I’m interested in anything you can tell me, even the wildest rumors. Let me worry about what’s true, I just want to learn as much as I can.

Quoted from Game Master
“She can get you into the noblemen’s district”
“She’s the true power in this city”
“She’s can get you into the assassin’s guild”

She has that kind of reputation, huh? Does she help many people get into the nobles’ district? What kind of people? Are they seen much afterwards; do they disappear or suddenly turn up fabulously wealthy or otherwise influential?

The true power of the city, you say? Is that because she holds a particular position of power, or simply because she has influence with powerful decision-makers? Who is supposedly in power, and does she seem to control them, or simply overshadows them when it comes to power and influence?

What is her association with the assassin’s guild? Is she a member, a patron, or a leader? Or does she simply know people within the guild? Does she have open connections to them, or is does she keep them in the shadows?

Quoted from Game Master
“You never find Boti during the day”

Brother Darme, to informant
Interesting. Why do you think that is?

Quoted from Game Master
“Baroness Itanowara”
“She’s a real saint”
“She’s saved me from prison”

Goodness gracious! To call her a saint, has she donated a lot of money to charity? Is she a hero of some kind? I’m from out of town, so I really don’t know much about her, that’s why I ask. Were wrongful charges brought against you?

Quoted from Game Master
“She’s save my poor soul from the money collectors”
“I was a slave now I am free man thanks to Baroness Itanowara”
“I had no work, now I work for the Baroness little company”

Company, you say? What does her company do, if you don’t mind my asking? Is it like the merchants, shipping, or trading perhaps? Does she employ a lot of people? Are they mainly lower- or middle-class, or people who were in trouble before?

Quoted from Game Master
“What do you want to drag our saint’s name into the dirt?”
“Baroness Of The Itanowara House”

You seem very protective and I’ve only mentioned her name. Surely there’d be no need to protect her name unless she’d done something that she might be in trouble for? I only ask because I’m new around town and I’m trying to learn more.

It isn’t like telling me about the good things she’s done is going to hurt her reputation. (Elric lets out a good-natured laugh.) Come tell me, how has she helped you out?

Quoted from Game Master
“There is a tomb dedicated to the Itanowara House in the graveyard.”

Well, that’s an odd bit of advice to give out. Don’t most of the nobles have their own family tombs?
