It’s the end of the month, I’ve just returned from a two-week vacation, and I’m horrendously busy. I thought it’d be worth mentioning that every spare brain cell I have, I’m puzzling through scribes for each of the seven states.

Before I left, I came up with class power for clerics and concepts for clerics of each of the seven states. I have another really glaring issue, and that’s my separation from my notebook/journal, which had the details of all my work on the scribe up to this point (it’s safe, just safe somewhere far from where I can access it), and Thanatos, my laptop.

I don’t mind redoing my work. I mean, it’s been several weeks since I last picked it up, and I have a fresher eye for it now, but I also really, really want to move on, and I don’t want to have to revisit it now. But I have to, because my obsession demands it. I also don’t have the time necessary to devote to a near-total rewrite.

Because I have only the “Scribes With Symbols” entry to work from, and my memory is really hazy for this month, I basically have to do all the research again, as well. Let’s just call it annoying to have to redo the research. I mean, I think I came up with some better ideas this time around, but it takes a long time and I want to move forward.

Once I’ve finished the Scribe write-up, I’ll post it online as I did with the cleric. I’d like to come up with concepts for each class when flavored by each state, which means coming up with materials for the equivalent of eighty-four classes. True, many are just variations on the same theme, but the point is to make them more.

I can do it, it’s just going to take longer than I like. *pouts*
