I’m taking a more organized approach to the second year of Rumors of War. Last year, I outlined the basic plots of the story arcs, and came up with the plot threads that tied them together, but most of the individual stories, apart from broad strokes made in the beginning and items I improvised along the way, had little to do with each other from the initial planning stages.

Now, because I’d like to eventually run multiple webcomics that update simultaneously, I’m trying to develop a system that will allow me to plot, draft, and script the story arcs farther in advance, so I can hopefully build them faster. It’s going to take some work to perfect, obviously, but it all goes well, I hope to launch a new webcomic in 2012, which, as mentioned, will be called Gaia’s Revenge.

We’ll see how it goes. I’m going to be trying to do a lot of things at once over the course of the next year, and I’m going to be getting married this summer, which means if I don’t have content prepared ahead of time … well, I don’t exactly plan on comicking during the time leading up to, during, or immediately following the wedding, for … various, hopefully very obvious reasons. *smirk* We’ll see how things go.
