I figured if I hadn’t made any progress on the project in a week, I might as well call it off. I feel a little guilty here and there but I think it’s a passing guilt. I do feel bad about talking something up as though I were going to commit to it and get it done but really, I have other things I should be focusing on. Rumors of War and Escape from White Cliff, for example.

I’ve bits of White Cliff that need finishing (fiddly monster statistics and the guidelines for my Skill Challenges — for my own reference) and I’ll be running that starting either the end of January or the beginning of February. I really ought to focus my attention on the projects I’m working on, rather than trying to squeeze in new things. C’est la vie.

Honestly, I don’t know that I ever really committed myself to the Arkham Horror thing the way I ought to, had I any intention of actually working on it in a timely fashion. It needed more time for planning, more time for preparation, and less of the last-minutes changes and revisions. Perhaps it could do well for a February or March project?

Given some more time to prepare, it’s something I’d really like to finish. :)
