I spent little to no time thinking about the comic yesterday. I mean, it wasn’t just that it was Christmas and all that, I don’t know that I really thought about much of anything yesterday. It was long, and fun, and exhausting, and there were so many people, and there was so much to see and do. There was always someone who needed help or had a question or wanted to chat or play a game. It was wonderful

There were adults and teenagers and children and babies. Lots of them, all day, throughout the day. And there were interludes, of course, it wasn’t a marathon event. There were presents in the morning, I think we started by around ten, though I was hardly watching the clock. Cookiemonger and I collaborated on several gifts together for various members of her family, and they mustered gifts for me as well.

I was all sorts of embarrassed, but turnabout is fair play, I suppose. Through a stroke of luck, and a good friend’s work connection, I was able to get my hands on a couple of slightly-used desktop computers (including mouse, keyboard, and decent flat screen monitor) at an egregiously low price. Both computers went to deserving people, and all is well. It was nice to have several people to get gifts for at once, it’s been some time.

Quite some time indeed. And I had fun. :)
