Sunday was a lot more productive in terms of novel progress, and perhaps even general productivity. I don’t know, maybe that isn’t a fair assessment. I think I recharged on Saturday, or recovered. I think I probably imploded Friday night, from all the stress I was facing, and I think between the write-in (progress or not), gaming on Saturday night, hanging out with my cousin, then going shopping with my friend Megan on Sunday, I think I managed to pick up the pieces of the wreckage and get back on track for this week.

I’m not particularly proud of my general behavior at times, and I certainly don’t appreciate my compulsion to stay up late and miss hours upon hours of sleep. I think, if and when I take over as Dungeon Master for our Saturday game, I’ll be sure to advocate ending by eleven or so, so we can all go home and rest. I mean, it’s great when we’re all engaged and playing, and it seems like we can go on all night long, but goodness gracious. I mean, last night, I wasn’t in bed and asleep until sometime after three in the morning.

I want to give a big thank-you to Megan for picking me up and taking me out shopping. I got some new shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, we had a great little dinner at the Corner Bakery (I had broccoli cheese soup and she had ravioli) and we talked about Life. Next time, we should totally discuss the Universe, and maybe make arrangements later for talking about Everything over coffee or something. I mean, ’cause I had to stretch that one out to get a reference to the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
