I got my copy of SuicideGirls: Beauty Redefined in the mail today. :)

My membership with SuicideGirls lapsed a couple weeks ago, and I only noticed because I started getting the “We Miss You” emails from them. I’ve been a member since March 2004, when I had a bank account, a credit card number, and a steady enough stream of money to pay the $48 annual fee. My membership has only lapsed a couple times in the last six years, and it’s really only because the site didn’t warn me when my membership was going to expire. Still, this time I kind of dragged my heels. Not because I didn’t want to renew, just ’cause I was busy.

Well, then I read the “We Miss You” email and noticed they had a deal on the subscription for nearly half off. Oh, and I could get a big discount on the book and DVD if I signed up, post-haste. I renewed my account straight away on Friday. I’ve had my eye on the book for ages, but it never really was convenient to pick it up. Not even sure what was on the DVD, but I thought now would be as good a time as any. I’ve only quickly flipped through the book; actually, when it arrived, the envelope was shredded, but the book was unscathed. Pretty awesome. :)

Beauty Redefined isn’t really a book for everyone, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to anyone who doesn’t enjoy “Beautiful naked girls with tattoos – punk rock girls, goth girls, emo girls, tattoo girls – SuicideGirls.” The human body is like art, to me, and I like to think of SuicideGirls as the cream of the crop when it comes to porn art … related to the human body. I won’t post a link, since it’s obviously Not Safe For Work. :D
